On 09th April 2015 Creative Commons Tanzania in Collaboration with Open University of Tanzania (OUT)  successfully donated desktop Computer to students at Kumbukumbu Primary School in Dar es Salaam Tanzania on event  followed by the  official launch of the school computer laboratory  .A total of ten computers was donated to the school that was previously  installed by CC Tanzania volunteers .

During  the handover ceremony ,Vice Chancellor of the Open University who is  a  patron of CC Tanzania informed the school about the ongoing plan to train 50 students of the  school on ICT  within the month of April 2015.

The training expect to consist of basic computer applications  that will follow with a brief information on Creative Commons in particular CC Tanzania and Importance of CC licenses along with introduction to OER .

The event will be a continuation of another training that was conducted by CC Tanzania at Academic International Primary School as part of School of Open (SOO) that was globally launched last year September which made CC Tanzania and Tanzania to be the first country in East Africa to do so.
